2014 National Train Day Celebration at Union Station St. Louis - Photo Report

5/10/2014 - What better place to celebrate National Train Day than Union Station St. Louis. A national historic landmark which was once the largest and busiest train train stations in the world. I have photographed around Union Station many many times but never ever stepped inside till this past weekend to checkout the National Train Day celebrations.

On display were live train cars and locomotives, including modern Amtrak fleet, heritage trains from Union Pacific and exhibits from Norfolk Southern and Terminal Railroad Association. Model train enthusiasts were out in full force with a number of exhibits.

Some photos from the event, more can be seen in the gallery here.
